The Christmas Clamity

Always tell myself there is no such thing as “normal.” In fact, I recently gave a talk speaking about the fact that there is no normal. Many businesses get into the habit of doing things in a “normal way”; looking at what others are doing and then, quite frankly, copying them. They think if someone has had success in a particular area, if they follow the same model, it should work! The issue with this is that everyone else also has the same idea – and we get a whole bunch of normal businesses doing things in a normal way; and customers find it very difficult to distinguish between them.

Gurmej Singh Pawar

is the founder and CEO of the award winning Meji Media Events Group. As well as Moonlight & Mistletoe Christmas Parties, Meji Media also owns event brands, Banter Experiences and Venkey. Gurmej is also a Podcast host and speaker. He is passionate about utilising technology to streamline event organising for customers and event organisers. His mission is a world where people can organise “Events and Experiences at their Fingertips.” He lives in the West Midlands with his family and loves sports. He is the Chairman of Barford Tigers Hockey Club and enjoys Crossfit. Gurmej also has a passion for getting more young people from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds into sport, exercise and healthy living.
